Applications for Flurry's equipment and expertise include spray drying of proteins and peptides, antibiotics, liposomes and other compounds of interest. Other services include spray encapsulation, formulation development, powder filling, powder packaging, powders for pulmonary delivery, and powders for oral solid dose forms.
Materials
Raw powders are the building blocks of many structural, electronic, and catalytic materials. Control over microstructure – e.g. particle size, size distribution, shape, porosity, and distribution of constituents, can have dramatic effects on macro-properties of the resultant metal, ceramic, or functionally graded product fabricated via a number of techniques.
