CHARACTERIZATION

Quantitative and qualitative methods to determine particle size, size distribution, morphology (shape), and other characteristics of sample powders of interest are critical to the product development cycle. Measurements and images of resultant particles (from a given process step; e.g. spray drying, recovery, filling, etc.) ascertain the effects of process variables (e.g. solids loading, atomization mechanism, atomizer settings, drying temperature, collection mechanism). A range of particle sizing and microscopy tools are available and we can develop test methods suited to your material.
